Top members of Baltimore’s Congressional and City leadership will Discuss COVID, the economy, and their legislative priorities for 2021.

 

BALTIMORE – Three of Baltimore and Maryland’s top elected officials will join the Downtown Download webinar throughout the month of January to discuss legislative priorities, the rollout of COVID vaccines, and the latest news about economic stimulus packages.

City Council President Nick Mosby will appear on January 12, U.S. Senator Chris Van Hollen will appear on January 19 (the day before the Presidential inauguration), and newly-elected Baltimore Mayor Brandon Scott will join the webinar on January 26. Each show airs from 9 – 10 am.

Downtown Partnership produces the series with Baltimore City Councilman, Eric Costello. Each show features the latest news and guidance for businesses and residents looking to navigate the coronavirus recovery. Along with Councilman Costello, the webinars will be hosted by Downtown Partnership President, Shelonda Stokes, and feature different expert guests each week.

Each show airs live between 9 and 10 am and is free to watch. The audience may ask questions using the chat and Q&A functions on Zoom. Anyone wishing to attend should register in advance. All previous webinar episodes are recorded and are available to watch on DPOB’s Youtube channel.
