TechConnect

Downtown Tech Growth

There’s no denying that the tech sector is rapidly growing in Baltimore. Companies such as Planit, r2Integrated, OrderUp, Mindgrub, and Groove proudly locate their home bases in and around Downtown. Places like Betamore’s urban campus for technology and the Emerging Technologies Center (ETC), along with accelerator and funding programs help to support the innovation and talent present among Downtown residents, students, and employees.

We partnered with Technical.ly on the 2016 Innovation Map for Baltimore Innovation Week. Click on the photo see key players in the Baltimore innovation scene and zoom in on the multiple industry sectors located in Downtown neighborhoods.

We are fortunate to have so many tech and innovation businesses that call Downtown Baltimore home that they can't all fit neatly on the map. But we are keeping count, because we're very sure that this latest boom in Baltimore is not a phase. Here is our current list, which is a work in progress, with web links and more information coming soon. If you see someone missing, email us at info@dpob.org.
